This is my first tattoo and I’m kind of nervous.
When it comes to the anxiety you’re feeling because of the pain/discomfort to come, it is indeed an appropriate assertion. So remind yourself of the worthy reason that you’re getting a tattoo. We’re sure there is an important meaning behind it, some motivation that makes you want to turn a concept into a work of body art. People are more likely to feel anxiety about a medium to large tattoo. The impending hours of being “under the needle” can certainly weigh on your mind. If you’re prone to anxiety we suggest starting with a small tattoo.
What should I wear? Tattoo
We’ll suggest you wear clothes which don’t touch the area you are going to get tattooed. If that is not possible, wear something that you can easily take off. You can ask your tattoo artist to close the windows if you’re not comfortable with doing so in public. After the procedure, try to wear breathable cotton clothes, as tight clothes can retain sweat and cause an infection.
What should I wear? Photoshoot
Wear clothes you love and that match each person’s style and personality. Do not dress everyone alike. Dress as formally or casually as you’d like. I’ll modify the style/feel of the session based on your apparel. Wear clothes that don’t wrinkle easily, and iron your clothes. I charge extra for wrinkle removing during retouching. Black is the most flattering color if you’re concerned about your weight. It hides a lot! Match your eye color. You’d be surprised how much this can do for your eyes! Look around your house at where you would like to hang the photos, like your living room, and match the colors of your outfits to your decorations so that your photos will coordinate with your house. When in doubt, neutral colors and earth tones always photograph well. Pick a few colors and mix them up so that you all coordinate without looking the same. Don’t forget to plan the shoes, too! Finally, you’re remember never fully dressed without a smile. Brush and floss those pearly whites before your session.
How many pictures will I receive?
Pictures will vary 100-150 per hour. Amount will vary on how many hours are booked. All images taken will be sent to you; good and bad. Everyone loves a good blooper!
Are you available outside of DFW?
On certain cases, yes. I do travel to Houston periodically and will plan different areas for time.
What should I do before my session?
Please eat a good meal before your session, but not so much that you might get sick during the process. Get a few candies with you in case the pain gets too much for you and you feel faint during the procedure. Bring water for your photoshoots.
What if I feel sick?
Please let us know as far in advance if you're feeling ill. Most likely, you will be suggested to postpone your appointment. We want to make sure everyone is safe and not expose others.
Are deposits refundable?
Unfortunately, deposits are NOT refundable. Please keep in mind my services feeds my family and pays my bills. I work on a appointment-only basis. These times are set aside specifically FOR YOU!
What if I have to reschedule?
For any reason you can not make it to your session, please let me know within 48 hour notice. After the 48 hours, you will forfeit your deposit and a second deposit will be required to reschedule.
Cancellations will forfeit any payments made, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Please keep in mind, my services feeds my family and pays my bills.
